Hi, nice to meet you! I’m Marta and I’m an Italian freelance illustrator.
I grew up in the beautiful and melancholic city of Turin (northern Italy), where I graduated with honors in Painting at the Albertina Fine Art Academy. Later I moved to Venice, where I currently live and work.
My work is heavily focused on magical, slightly unsettling atmospheres, with special attention given to composition and visual storytelling.
In my free time, I love to take long walks in nature, cuddle every cat I meet along the way, read nonfiction books, and play The Legend of Zelda (all titles, on a neverending loop). I love a good laugh with friends, the sea breeze, the scent of rain after a summer storm.
